Strategic LPG Sources

Bare Syndicate facilitates LPG (propane and butane) trade from strategic producers in the Middle East — primarily Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait — connecting Gulf liquefaction and refinery sources with high-growth demand centres across South Asia, East Africa, and West Africa. Our LPG trading capabilities span Saudi Aramco CP-linked term contracts, refinery off-take, and gas-plant by-product cargoes from established Middle East producers. We serve residential, commercial, autogas, and petrochemical buyers in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa — markets where LPG is the dominant clean cooking fuel and a fast-growing transport fuel. Our trade facilitation includes cargo matching, pressurised-vessel chartering, port-handling coordination at terminals such as Port Qasim, Dar es Salaam, Mombasa, and Lagos, quality inspection at loading and discharge, and end-to-end documentation management for customs, insurance, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

FAQ +

What is LPG?

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is a hydrocarbon fuel made up principally of propane (C₃H₈) and butane (C₄H₁₀), or a mix of the two. It is stored as a liquid under modest pressure (or mild refrigeration) and burns cleanly — used for residential cooking, autogas, industrial heating, and as petrochemical feedstock.

What is the difference between LPG and LNG?

LPG and LNG are entirely different products. LPG is propane and butane, stored under pressure at ambient temperatures and shipped on pressurised or semi-refrigerated vessels. LNG is natural gas (mostly methane) cooled to −162°C and shipped on cryogenic tankers. Bare Syndicate trades LPG, not LNG.

How is LPG sourced and transported?

LPG is produced as a by-product of natural gas processing and crude oil refining. Bare Syndicate sources from strategic Middle East producers and ships via pressurised LPG carriers (Handy and Very Large Gas Carriers) into terminals across South Asia and Africa. Last-mile distribution uses bulk road tankers and 11.8/45 kg cylinders.

What are the typical specifications for commercial LPG?

Commercial Propane is ≥95% C₃H₈ with low sulphur content, vapour pressure ~1,432 kPa at 38°C, and is favoured for autogas and industrial heating in colder climates. Commercial Butane is ≥95% C₄H₁₀ with vapour pressure ~414 kPa at 38°C, used for cooking and aerosol propellant. Mixed LPG blends propane and butane to match seasonal demand and equipment specifications.

What contract structures does Bare Syndicate offer for LPG?

We arrange both spot cargoes and term contracts. Term offtake is typically 1–3 years with pricing indexed to Saudi CP (Contract Price) or Mont Belvieu, while spot deliveries reference current FOB Middle East benchmarks. All shipments are backed by SGS or Intertek loading inspection and our standard escrow framework.
