Own Mining & Flotation in Waziristan

Copper concentrates are produced from our 820-acre Waziristan operation (1,000 TPD), where chalcopyrite-bornite sulphide ore is crushed, ground in a SAG-ball mill circuit, and floated through rougher-cleaner-scavenger banks. Concentrate is thickened, filter-pressed to <9% moisture, and assayed in our on-site lab with daily SGS check-samples. We dispatch concentrates by sealed road-train to Karachi (1,650 km), where they are stored in covered bonded warehouses awaiting vessel nomination. Four additional copper exploration leases in the same belt are under feasibility, with a planned ramp to 3,000 TPD by 2027 — providing buyers with long-term offtake security from a single, traceable origin.

FAQ +

What are copper concentrates?

Copper concentrates are flotation products from sulphide copper ore, typically containing 15–25% Cu along with iron, sulphur, and precious-metal byproducts (Au, Ag) and sometimes Mo. They are the primary feedstock for pyrometallurgical copper smelters and refineries worldwide.

What treatment & refining charges (TC/RC) apply?

TC/RCs are negotiated annually between miners and smelters, and benchmark settlements are typically published in Q1. Bare Syndicate prices concentrates net of TC/RCs, freight, and payable terms (usually 96.5% of Cu, 90% of Au, 90% of Ag) — fully aligned with global Cu concentrate trade norms.

What are the deleterious-element limits?

Our concentrates ship with As, Sb, Bi, Pb, Zn, F, Cl, and Hg well within smelter penalty thresholds. Detailed assays are issued per shipment by SGS or Alfred H Knight at load port, and buyers may nominate their own umpire laboratory.

How are concentrates packed and moisture-controlled?

Dewatered to <9% moisture (below the Transportable Moisture Limit, TML), packed in 1 MT bulk bags, and stowed in containers or hold-loaded for bulk vessels. TML certificates accompany every shipment per IMSBC Code.

Which smelters do you supply?

Our concentrates are accepted at custom smelters in China (Jiangxi, Yunnan), Japan (Saganoseki, Naoshima), South Korea (Onsan), and select European refiners. We can route shipments via Karachi, Bin Qasim, or Gwadar depending on vessel availability.
