Southeast Asian Supply Chain
Our vegetable oil portfolio is sourced from leading palm oil and sunflower oil producers in Southeast Asia — primarily Malaysia and Indonesia, which together account for over 85% of global palm oil production. We work with established plantations and refineries that maintain RSPO membership and progressive sustainability commitments. Malaysian palm oil benefits from the country's mandatory MSPO (Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil) certification scheme, while Indonesian supply is covered by ISPO (Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil) standards. Our crude sunflower oil is sourced from Ukraine and Argentina — the world's leading sunflower oil exporters — for buyers requiring specific fatty acid profiles and non-palm alternatives. We support both bulk tanker and flexi-bag container shipments, with quality inspection at loading ports by independent surveyors. Trade documentation includes certificates of origin, health certificates, halal certification where required, and comprehensive laboratory analysis reports.
FAQ +
What vegetable oils does Bare Syndicate supply?
We supply RBD (Refined, Bleached, Deodorized) palm oil for cooking and food manufacturing, and crude sunflower oil for refining and FMCG applications. Both products are sourced from Southeast Asia's leading producers with full quality certification and traceability.
What does RBD mean in palm oil?
RBD stands for Refined, Bleached, and Deodorized — a multi-stage processing method that removes free fatty acids, color pigments, odor compounds, and impurities from crude palm oil. The result is a neutral, light-colored oil suitable for direct use in cooking, food manufacturing, and industrial applications.
What is the difference between palm oil and palm kernel oil?
Palm oil is extracted from the flesh (mesocarp) of the oil palm fruit and is semi-solid at room temperature, rich in palmitic and oleic acids. Palm kernel oil comes from the seed (kernel) and is rich in lauric acid, similar to coconut oil. They have different fatty acid profiles, melting points, and applications. Bare Syndicate primarily trades palm oil (CPO and RBD grades).
Is your palm oil RSPO certified?
We can source RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certified palm oil upon request, including Mass Balance (MB) and Segregated (SG) supply chain options. RSPO certification ensures production meets environmental and social sustainability criteria, including zero deforestation commitments.
How are vegetable oils transported internationally?
Vegetable oils are shipped in flexi-bag containers (16–24 MT capacity inside standard 20-foot containers), ISO tank containers, or bulk tanker vessels (3,000–50,000 MT). Temperature-controlled transport may be required for certain grades. All shipments include certificates of analysis covering FFA, moisture, impurities, iodine value, and peroxide value.
